    Job Description

    The Goddard School is a renowned program with a Piaget-based foundation, a leader in the franchised preschool industry. It sets the standard for excellence and provides a life-long love of learning.

    We are seeking a fun, warm, and energetic Music Teacher for our school who has experience working with Infants and Toddlers, as well as Preschool-aged children.

    Daily Responsibilities:

    • Develop music lesson plans aligned with monthly themes and developmentally appropriate activities.
    • SUPPORT THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF EACH CHILD.
    • Engage with children to foster music through play, exploration, and learning.
    • Present expectations that cater to each child's age and developmental level.
    • Plan and implement music activities that promote self-esteem and social skills.
    • Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues.
    • Foster teamwork and collaboration.
    • Utilize assessment tools to measure progress.

    Requirements:

    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Music, or a related field.
    • Minimum 1 year of music experience in a licensed center or early childhood enrichment center.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
    • Strong written and communication skills.
