Located in the heart of the Upper West Side, Central Park West Med Spa is a boutique medical aesthetic practice dedicated to high-end, personalized skin health. Led by Dr. Arthur Englard, our facility blends clinical expertise with a luxury spa environment. We aren't a high-volume "churn and burn" clinic; we pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our clients and providing evidence-based treatments that actually deliver results. Our team is small, professional, and deeply passionate about the science of beauty.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, NYS Licensed Medical Aesthetician who is ready to take ownership of the treatment room. You will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking transformative skin results, from initial consultation through to post-care follow-up. This role requires someone who is not only technically skilled with lasers and advanced facials but also has the "soft skills" to make high-profile clients feel comfortable, heard, and cared for. You'll work closely with our Medical Director to ensure every protocol is safe and effective.
Responsibilities
- Perform Advanced Treatments: Execute a variety of services including laser hair removal, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and customized medical-grade facials.
- Expert Consultations: Evaluate client skin types and concerns to develop realistic, multi-session treatment plans.
- Patient Safety: Maintain a pristine clinical environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and calibrated according to New York State regulations.
- Product Education: Educate clients on medical-grade skincare routines (at-home care) to enhance the results of their in-office treatments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed electronic charts of treatment settings, skin reactions, and client progress.
- Client Retention: Follow up with clients post-treatment to ensure satisfaction and manage any recovery questions.
Requirements
- Licensure: Current New York State Esthetician License is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years working in a medical spa or dermatology office. You should be comfortable operating solo in a treatment room.
- Technical Skill: Proven experience with laser systems and advanced exfoliation techniques.
- Professionalism: Exceptional communication skills and a polished appearance suitable for a premium New York City medical office.
- Reliability: Since we are an appointment-only boutique, punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for our team dynamic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3, $4,400.00 per month
