    The Donor Services Specialist will support the Donor Services Team with the day to day (or administrative functions) operations of the department through gift processing, receipting and data entry using the Blackbaud Raisers Edge platform; as well as maintaining hardcopy and electronic files.

    Performs daily data input, edits and posting of daily contributions.
    Generate donor acknowledgement letters and tribute cards.
    Tracks matching gift applications and third-party donations for gift processing and receipting.
    Assists with the monthly contribution reconciliation with Financial Services pertaining to gifts received.
    Updates constituent records.
    Organizes and maintains hardcopy and electronic filing systems.
    Assists with the standards and policies for the database.
    Stays abreast of all software used within the Advancement department.
    Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Center and departmental policies and procedures.

    Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

    Performs other duties as required/requested/assigned.
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent required.

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCEOne (1) year of related database/gift processing e xperience or training using the Blackbaud platform and various Third-Party donation aggregators preferred.

    REQUIRED MINIMUM SKILLSProficiency with Blackbauds Raisers Edge software and all programs that interface with that software preferred.
    Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other cloud-based platforms to perform essential job functions.
    Must be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
    Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
    Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
    Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
    Attention to details, and a critical degree of data entry accuracy a must.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAssociats's degree preferred.
    Raisers Edge NXT Certification preferred.
    Familiarity with CASE preferred.
    WORKING CONDITIONSAbility to remain in a sedentary position 90% of the time.
    Ability to move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across office for various needs.
    Ability to position self to access file cabinets and office machinery including copier, printer, etc.
    Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
