Description
Nurses Etc. Staffing is looking for a full-time Rheumatologist MD/DOto join our team at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Liberty, North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to work with active-duty military and their beneficiaries.
The position represents:

Rheumatologist Requirements:
Degree/Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support:
Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements in AR 351-3 or as determined by the provider s State of licensure, whichever is more stringent.

Board Certification:
Board certified/board eligible in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
Licensure/Registration:
Shall possess and maintain throughout the life of the contract a valid, unrestricted state license to practice medicine in one of the 50 states in the United States or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S.
Additional licenses held by a provider must be in good standing whether they are inactive, expired, or limit the provider s practice to a military setting.
The healthcare provider s license(s) must remain current, valid, and unrestricted throughout the duration of the contract worker performance on the contract.
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)Registration:
Requirements for DEA registration numbers are required for Rheumatologist.
Must have and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number (certificate) to prescribe controlled substances in accordance with the law of the state where services are provided.

The contract provider shall perform all procedures commonly performed by a Rheumatology
Duties shall consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide medical examination, care, and treatment to MTF patients.
Provide medical care and treatment of communicable diseases and/or injuries.
Conserve health of patients by application of diversified knowledge of preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical and surgical procedures.
Seek advice of consultants when appropriate.
Instruct and monitor other medical personnel in care and treatment of patients to include nontherapeutic services such as physical examinations.
Initiate requests for tests, x-rays, and admissions to the medical treatment facility, as appropriate.Follow-up on abnormal reports. Abnormal x-ray and lab reports received on patients seen by
