Our company is currently seeking a part time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team You will be responsible for working with health insurance companies to correct payment errors.
Responsibilities:
Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
Compute and record numerical data
Check the accuracy of business transactions
Perform data entry and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong organizational skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
knowledge of the business side of behavioral health services
Company Description MSA is a private community mental health center located in Columbia, Maryland. We work with patients from the ages of 3 through 21. MSA has a full complement of staff including board-certified child psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and masters trained licensed therapists.
The center provides a full range of outpatient services including intensive outpatient, medication management and traditional outpatient care including individual, family and group therapy.
