    Maintenance Manager



    The Maintenance Manager primary responsibility is to safely lead the maintenance team and ensure reliability with minimal downtime of all assets and equipment within our continuous (24/7) manufacturing facility. Supporting Hydro's positive culture through providing professional and technical growth of the maintenance team through training and development opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Hydro's Safety-First work environment and adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Management and improvement of the maintenance workstream, to include but not limited to organizational structures and procedures, the equipment technical structure, PM program, spare parts, and SOP's.
  • Accountable for the equipment availability and reliability improvement plan (Focuses on Failure Mitigation of Reliability Issues) and the Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Design, input, and implementation of capital projects regarding equipment and building.
  • Manage and oversee the planning/scheduling, purchasing of maintenance supplies, outside contractors, while maintaining control with budgets and cost.
  • Organization and Management of the areas of responsibility by implementing and applying a quality system in accordance with ISO 9001/2000, 14001, HES and Hydro Standards
  • Foster an environment where employees are motivated and engaged, driven by safety, growth, and development.
  • Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years hands on experience, metals industry preferred.
  • Track record of leading a department toward improved equipment reliability
  • Good communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Rockwell software Studio 5000 and Factory Talk View Studio programming experience preferred.
  • Experience in 3-Phase motor controls and control circuit troubleshooting
  • Experience in reading of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic blueprints and schematics.
