- Preparing and managing commercial plumbing quotes using the Eclipse system
- Ensuring all accessible Connor Co. products are quoted per project specs and approved alternatives
- Researching territories, competitors, and project opportunities to create competitive pricing
- Negotiating, utilizing, and tracking vendor special pricing programs
- Monitoring customer and industry websites for upcoming bid opportunities
- Distributing bids to the appropriate branches
- Working proactively with vendors and engineers to get Connor Co. products specified
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and branch personnel
- Participating in vendor meetings, product training, and industry trade shows as needed
- Staying informed on product innovations, pricing trends, and competitor activity
- Supporting additional projects and duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, professional, and patient attitude
- Willingness to travel as needed
- 2+ years of experience
- 25 years of commercial quoting experience
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize the Eclipse software
- Experience working with vendors, engineers, or commercial construction bids
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working with all levels of management and customers
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
