    Job descriptionCarolina Foods is the founding bakery of Duchess Brand snacks and creator of one of America's first Honey Buns.

    Our business has been in operation since 1934, and our products are synonymous with quality, innovation, and a longer shelf-life.

    We are a manufacturer of sweet baked goods and our products include a variety of delicious individually wrapped items, including:
    honey buns, baked pies, fried pies, and gem donuts to serve all customers' needs.

    We are poised for major growth and expansion and are looking for driven individuals to join us on our journey.

    We are looking for a reliable Supervisor of Quality Assurance to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers.

    You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues. An excellent Quality Assurance Supervisor has eyes like a hawk and solid experience in quality control.

    The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle.

    The goal is to assure the high quality of our operations and services aiming to the long-term success of our business.

    Pay Range up to $70,000ResponsibilitiesDevise procedures to inspect and report quality issuesSchedule is 3:00p-12:30a, Mon-FriMonitor all operations that affect qualitySupervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other staffAssure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final outputAppraise customers' requirements and make sure they are satisfiedReport all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate actionFacilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality dataReview current standards and policiesKeep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentationEnsure all legal standards are metCommunicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspectionsSkillsProven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant roleExperience working in a Food or Beverage facilityThorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standardsExcellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methodsGood knowledge of MS Office and databasesOutstanding communication skillsGreat attention to detail and a results driven approachExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesReliable and TrustworthyBSc/BA in business administration or relevant field
