- Research and analyze financial data and prepare reports to present to upper management.
- Monitor and forecast cash flows and prepare budgets as well as regular updates as needed.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract billing and payroll processes.
- Create and maintain an accurate WIP, debt schedule, and asset schedule.
- Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of all necessary tax documents.
- Maintain Subcontractor compliance, prepare for and assist with Workman Comp & General Liability audit.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or relevant field.
- CPA Certification or comparable qualifications 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in a public/corporate accounting environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in the use of accounting systems (e.g. Sage300, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Superior analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
