Job Overview:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of New Hope Fertility Center. This role involves the hands on managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Generate accurate and timely financial statements tailored to the unique needs of a fertility clinic.
Analyze financial data, providing insights into the clinic's financial performance and trends.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets, considering the specialized needs of a fertility clinic.
Prepare financial forecasts aligned with the clinic's growth and patient care goals.
Cost Management in Healthcare:
Implement cost control measures while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Analyze and optimize the financial impact of medical services, treatments, and technologies.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, including billing and coding standards.
Collaborate with the compliance team to facilitate adherence to industry-specific regulations.
Cash Flow and
Revenue Cycle Management:
Oversee cash flow and revenue cycle management, addressing the unique challenges of healthcare billing and reimbursement.
Implement strategies to optimize revenue while maintaining ethical and transparent financial practices.
Financial Strategy for Healthcare Growth:
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making related to clinic growth and service expansion.
Evaluate the financial feasibility of new medical technologies, treatments, and patient care initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller in the healthcare industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial software including Quickbooks and MS Excel.
