- As the Vice President of Operations, your primary focus will be on meeting financial goals, optimizing operational processes, and driving overall business success in alignment with the organization's mission.
- Provide global leadership, vision, and direction to operations teams to achieve annual revenue goals and growth objectives.
- Create a culture of safety and ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are met.
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve profit targets and maximize profitability continually.
- Review and adjust the organizational structure to best meet customer and stakeholder needs.
- Drive operational initiatives to grow the business, ensure financial strength, and enhance efficiencies.
- Lead strategic planning in alignment with long-term goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to identify and deliver on top-line growth initiatives.
- Support talent acquisition, employee development, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- 5-10 years of progressive operations management experience in the logistics industry.
- Experience in picking/e-commerce warehouse operations.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex initiatives and drive Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong people leadership skills and global leadership experience is preferred.
- Ability to formulate organizational vision and strategies and lead teams to achieve them.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in logistics/warehousing.
- Effective communication skills and understanding of corporate finance principles.
- Experience in interpreting contracts, customer negotiations, and implementing safety programs.
