    Primary Role:
    The CHRO serves as the top Human Resources executive for the company responsible for establishing and leading the comprehensive, high-performing human capital strategy to drive organizational performance through end-to-end human resources initiatives, programs, processes and policies

    Duties and Responsibilities:


    Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and performs all associates executive leader responsibilities, advising the executive leaders on all aspects of human resources management.

    Serve as a trusted advisor to the President & CEO and the Executive Leadership Team.

    Oversee the global Human Resources (HR) and Learning & Development (L&D) team responsible for executing the global human resources and learning and development strategy including hiring, performance management, development, and all other aspects of the employee lifecycle.

    Build, develop and manage the team to be trusted, respected and knowledgeable business partners.

    Responsible for the strategic total rewards and recognition programs to drive talent acquisition, retention and performance:

    Establish and manage compensation structures for the organization, assuring pay equity and pay transparency compliance and overall effectiveness within the market.

    Lead the cross-functional SWIM stock plan administration with the Board of Directors, vendors and internal team (Legal, HR & Finance)Create, maintain and assure alignment of short and long-term incentive programs with business objectives.

    Develop comprehensive benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
    Implement and update employee recognition programs.
    Drive Succession Planning activities at the corporate officer level as well as the organization overall.

    Serve as a staff liaison for the Board Compensation Committee along with the General Counsel, driving quarterly meetings, engaging the independent compensation consultant, partnering with external executive compensation counsel and executing all associated work tasks including SEC compliance activities.

    Drive the talent management strategy including talent acquisition strategy and, as needed based on business conditions, reductions in force and team reorganizations.

    Partner with leadership on organizational planning for all divisions including talent planning, recruitment, career path creation, succession planning, performance management, annual headcount planning and monitoring for all divisions.

    Manage leadership transitions along with the CEO and Board of Directors. Serve as a lead on related position searches.
    Direct the human capital plans for corporate mergers and acquisitions pre-and post-transaction assuring systems and cultural integration.
    Engage in human capital activities for key business transactions and deals.

    Drive organizational change and proactively mitigate and resolve challengesDrive the employee engagement strategy for the organization and link engagement activities to positive business outcomes.

    Establish, manage and continuously improve the employee performance review and annual goals & objectives setting processes tying to company values, performance expectations and corporate KPIs.

    Assure proactive ethics and code of conduct programs are in place including regular monitoring activities and reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board.

    Manage high-risk legal matters and guide HR staff responsible for managing lower-risk legal and matters/cases to resolution.

    Serve as the liaison with external Legal resources for HR matters along with the HR country leaders and internal Legal team.

    Drive diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging strategy and programs.
    Create and maintain the annual human resources and total rewards budgets for the company.

    Partner with external vendors on strategic planning and annual operations of health, welfare and retirement plans and compliance with country regulatory rules.

    Serve as a core member of the Environmental, Social & Governance team and contributes to the Social section of the ESG annual report.

    Partner with the General Counsel on the company's annual proxy filing'; is responsible for authoring, updating and validating all sections related to Compensation Discussion and Analysis (CD&A) sections and disclosure of company people practices.

    Assure alignment of Leadership Academy, Latham University and all other L&D initiatives with Latham's annual plan objectives and overall company vision/mission and core values.

    Partner with the Environmental Health & Safety team to assure a strong safety-focused culture while reducing risk. Engage with workers compensation provider and internal leadership team on monthly claims reviews.

    Serve as a check and balance to the US HR Director on managing workers compensation cases ad driving to resolution.

    Drive internal communications with support from Marketing to include all aspects of the Internal Communications grid which encompasses all employee groups, internal comms channels and required messaging both standard for routine communications toward a creative, recurring and engaging internal communications strategy.

    Plan & execute annual ELT, SLT & Key managers meetings and key information-sharing approachesMaintain Senior Leadership Team membership and criteriaServe as a role model for proactive and productive employee relations by encouraging and maintaining positive relationships at all levels of the organization.

    Prepare quarterly Board of Directors meeting slides addressing HR strategies/KPIs and the monthly HR Functional Review deck. Establish and report on human capital key performance indicators and drive initiatives to improve lagging indicators.
    Oversee charitable giving for the company and maintain company-wide budget.
    Oversee the payroll and timekeeping function for the company which includes HRIS functionality and stringent recordkeeping.

    Partner with internal and external Legal on high-risk legal HR matters, driving to resolution and process improvements wherever possible to reduce the company's exposure.

    Recommend and implement strategies, initiatives, policies and objectives; ensure the policies and objectives meet legal and regulatory requirements; are cost effective; and consistent with Latham's business plans.

    Establish and maintain long term networking relationships and centers of influence through active involvement and participation with the board, leadership and the human resources community at large.

    Oversee staff responsible for worker's compensation, disability, personal and various other leave types.
    Serve as a spokesperson for the company as needed.
    Space planning for the Latham HQ location.
    Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:

    Education:
    bachelor's degree in human resources, business or an associated field from an accredited university, master's degree preferredHuman Resources professional certification(s)
    • SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP or others15+ years of experience including global Human Resources experience (North America, Australia & New Zealand); compensation program design; stock plan administration, talent strategy, learning & development, employee relations, employment law in multiple states and countries, leading teams remotelyExperience in manufacturing, public company and/or private equity organizations preferredOutstanding communication skills (Written & Verbal); workforce management and planningPhysical lifting, standing, bending, climbing, operation of equipment/machinery, number of pounds to lift/push/pull, etc.
    include length of time for physical activity when possible (i.e. stand for 4 hours)

    Software/hardware/technology requirements:
    Microsoft Office Suite, Payroll/HRIS systems, Learning Management Systems, Zoom, SharePoint, various HR tools and systemsTravel requirements (approximate 30% of time - local, statewide, national and global)
