ANNOUNCEMENT OF SERVICE VACANCY

Position:
Day-to-Day Substitute Bus Operator

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Complete First Aid and CPR Certifications
3. Pass FBI Criminal Background Review
4. Pass Pre-employment Drug Screening Test
5. Pass WV Department of Motor Vehicle Driving Record Review
6. Pass the State Mandated Medical Physical Examination
7. Pass WV School Bus Driver Written and Skills Tests
8. Hold or complete a CDL Class B with School Bus and Passenger endorsements
9. Random selection Drug and Alcohol Testing after employed
10.Minimum of 21 years of age and 3 years driving experience
11. Must provide a birth certificate
12. Complete a minimum of 40 hours of instructional classes with a WVDE certified trainer
13. Complete a minimum of 12 hours on the road training with a WVDE certified trainer
14. Shall pass physical performance test
15. Position is subject to Lewis County Schools policy


Salary: As provided in West Virginia Code 18A-4-8 and 18A-4-8a


Term: Day-to-Day as Needed
