- Participate in the management of food inventory levels, identifying opportunities to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.

About the Position
The Breakfast Sous Chef assists the Executive Chef in overseeing the morning operations of the kitchen. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the highest quality food, hygiene and service standards are met. Additional responsibilities are coordinating food preparation, managing kitchen staff during breakfast shifts, and ensuring that breakfast service runs smoothly and efficiently for a delightful guest experience.
Qualifications and Skills
As the Breakfast Sous Chef in a renowned restaurant known for its culinary excellence within the region, you collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to craft breakfast experiences that delight our lodge and local guests with innovative flavors and precision. With a wealth of experience in culinary arts and a keen understanding of quality control, inventory management and sanitation protocols, you ensure that every dish meets our exacting standards. You enjoy cooking with local and special ingredients as well as showcasing advanced cooking abilities in the scratch kitchen. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, and you strive to foster a positive and cohesive kitchen environment and a memorable experience for every guest.
