    Program Analyst

    Salary Range:
    $67, $80,000.00

    Turlock, CA


    SUMMARY
    The Program Analyst is responsible for leading and improving assigned programs and projects.

    Working collaboratively with plant management, this person will design, source, implement, and improve programs to support operational and quality improvement in several different manufacturing locations and plants.

    This role is vital in understanding capital needs. The primary focus of this role is to improve operational performance.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Takes the lead with new programs, developing relationships with vendors, sourcing solutions, acting as the champion for the project, and communicating progress to manufacturing leadership.

    Collaboratively works with plant management and quality management to understand opportunities in operations
    Collects, manages, and analyzes all data to derive solutions or reveal opportunities for improvement
    Creates reports and analyses for all levels of the organization from supervisor to executive leadership as assigned

    Understands and stays up to date with program solutions available in the feed industry such as automation, electronic management of data, etc.

    Acts as project manager once the solution has been procured. This includes, design of the project plan, stakeholder meetings, kick off meetings, team meetings, and communication with total company leadership
    Accountable for increasing performance of operations including:

    Increasing run rates and, thus, capacity
    Increasing uptime and available machine hours
    Ensuring quality is maintained at the highest level
    Ensuring labor efficiency is improved using automation and staffing tools
    All other projects as identified through collaboration with the operations team

    Works collaboratively with all departments including Sales, Dispatch/Transportation, and other areas to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
    Provides technical and managerial expertise to solve problems, makes recommendations and oversees implementation of improvements
    Maintains all required documentation and records, ensuring compliance and accuracy
    Recommends capital improvement projects, equipment replacement and staffing levels
    Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

    Statistical analysis and ability to report and explain business processes that have a statistical significance to the company and fall outside of acceptable standard deviations

    Minimum Job Requirements, Experience and

    Training Guidelines:
    Bachelor's degree or

    equivalent experience in a data analytics or project management role
    Strong organizational skills in tracking, scheduling, and coordinating data collection and analysis
    Demonstrated effectiveness at working in a collaborative team environment
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to motivate staff and facilitate change
    Computer proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, timekeeping, production management and inventory control systems; SAP experience desired
    California driver's license and insurable DMV record

    Able to climb ladders/stairsup to heights more than 100'

    Working conditions

    Work may be performed inside or outside in hot and cool temperatures and a noisy environment
    May be exposure to loud noises and steam exhaust, and dusty, muddy, and slick environment
