We are currently hiring for a **Dealership Tax Manager** to join our growing firm. We have close to 200 professionals and stand as one of the largest local CPA firms in the Midwest region. This role can be done from our headquarters in Indianapolis, hybrid, or 100% remote.

**Job Responsibilities:**
Somerset CPAs services the tax, accounting, and consulting needs of clients in the Dealership industry throughout the United States. The **Tax Manager** on the Dealership team, you will work closely with these clients to ensure they are tracking and reporting financial data accurately and will help them with continued growth and profitability now and in the future
Devise tax strategies, advising the dealer on financial improvements to the store, buying or selling a dealership, helping develop estate and succession plans, and introducing the dealer to other industry specific professionals
Assist owners in evaluating the acquisition process when they are purchasing a new dealership
Assist with structuring purchase price, preparing projections, obtaining financing, and working with the owners to complete applications
Cost segregation and prior year depreciation adjustments
Familiar with Last-In, First-Out (LIFO) inventory valuations
Advise and execute strategic planning and budgeting
Review and evaluate operations
Cash flow analysis and management
Requirements
5-8 years of public accounting experience with familiarity of Dealership specific accounting and tax methods
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA
Passion for maintaining/building client relationships, managing client expectations, while demonstrating knowledge of client businesses
Previous experience using specialized computer software systems, such as Reynolds and Reynolds and CDK is preferred
