    Training Analyst - Fort Liberty, United States - Department of the Army

    Description

    Duties * Serves as the senior Training Analyst (PSYOP Collective Training), subject matter expert (SME), technical authority, and advisor on PSYOP collective training requirements for the PSYOP Proponent Director.

    * Serves as the proponent's primary SME on training analysis and analysis of new systems, tables of organization, and equipment for the identification of critical collective training tasks, and the development of collective training products.

    * Reviews and prepares responses to Combined, Joint, Multi-Service, Army and ARSOF training literature products and programs.

    * Researches and writes responses to management inquiries, memoranda, fact sheets, and information papers, and contributes articles to Special Warfare Bulletin and other scholarly publications.

    * Maintains a program for systematic staffing and review of and training programs from USATRADOC centers and schools, USSOCOM and other Joint commands, USASOC and its subordinate commands, and USACAPOC.

    * Analyzes implications of operational information on the areas of training, force employment, PSYOP process including evaluation of the effectiveness of PSYOP, task organization of the force, equipment, new systems, tactics, techniques and procedures.

    * Attends Joint, Combined, Multi-Service, Army and ARSOF training conferences and participates in training development working groups.

    * Participates in conferences, briefings and working groups in person or via video teleconferences with representatives of other agencies at which the incumbent represents USAJFKSWCS as an expert on collective training issues.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

    * This position requires a SECRET security clearance. * May be required to travel TDY up to 10%.

    * Incumbent may be required to observe field training conducted in all types of weather and in daylight and darkness.

    Some training sites may have unimproved conditions. Work may necessitate incumbent to wear clothes appropriate for field training.

    * Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

    Specialized Experience:
    One year of specialized experience which includes: 1)

    Participating in planning, resourcing, and executing short- and long-range collective training (Examples:
    Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS), Mission Essential Task Lists (METL) and Training Support Packages (TSP). 2.) Identifying critical collective tasks by conducting Mission Analysis.

    3) Providing expert advice on the integration of collective training into Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis and solution development.

    4) Participating in the Analysis, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) process for instructional design, development, or evaluative criteria. for educational developments.

    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.

    Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.

    Grade Requirement:

    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
