Job Title: Long-Term Care Resident Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Assistant to join our team at MyMichigan Health. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive environment for our residents, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting their physical, social, and psychological well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dining and nutrition assistance (40%)
• Resident call lights and customer service (20%)
• Recreational activities (30%)
• Stocking supplies (10%)

Other Essential Duties:

• Adheres to the abuse prevention program policies and procedures
• Does not feed residents unless they have completed the 8-hour feeding assistant course as outlined by the State of Michigan
• Does not provide direct care; seeks proper assistance for duties requiring direct care or licensed nurse or therapist qualification
• Comes to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality
• Works cooperatively with residents, resident representatives, facility staff, and ancillary service providers
• Participates in department education as directed
• Demonstrates competency in Microsoft Windows

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
