Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Safeway is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician at Safeway, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.
Provide exceptional customer service: Engage with customers, respond to their queries, and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area: Ensure the work environment is safe, tidy, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Process prescription orders efficiently: Prioritize tasks, manage workflow, and adhere to Federal and State laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
Review patient records and provide immunizations: Verify patient information, administer vaccinations, and fill medication orders accurately.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
