    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our System Administration team. The Manager of Systems Administration will play a key role in the scaling and success of our Operational Excellence (OpEx) team. You will be supporting the day-to-day operations and software systems used by our Operations team, as well as teams across the broader organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to help ensure the smooth implementation of system improvements and the rollout of new systems as they come online. As we rely on our systems to provide excellent enterprise-level support to scale the organization, you will be the backbone and the foundation of our success.

    This individual will report to the Director, Strategic Operations. The team that this role is a part of is primarily based out of the USA.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop strategy and guidelines of excellence aligned to company and operation-specific goals.
    • Facilitate outcomes-based planning with Ops systems and processes.
    • Administer tools and systems within the Operations ecosystem, as well as identify, evaluate, and roll out new tools that might provide benefits to operations.
    • Oversee a variety of work including case management improvements, data and analytics, process standardization, and training.
    • Create supporting system dashboards and reports that ensure data-driven decisions drive future improvements and enhancements.
    • Compile and highlight measures in a way that is actionable by OpEx and other teams across operations.
    • Work with team members across operations to gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.
    • Oversee system admin tasks, including setting up user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
    • Collaborate with OpEx leaders to ensure that how we work (methodologies, process, meetings, ceremonies) is appropriate, clear, systematic, documented, and collaborative.
    • Design a system to regularly perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems and establish best practices with the business.
    • Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
    • Supports communications with system users to share information, identify opportunities, resolve problems, prioritize customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement.
    • Help oversee system admin projects performed by internal stakeholders and contractors.
    • Groom and maintain a healthy backlog of requests.
    • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors.
    • Work with the Strategic Operations team to improve processes and workflows.
    • Ability to source and manage contractors as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
    • Minimum 4 years experience in system support and improvements.
    • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience.
    • Experience in automation tools and processes, client support, process design and improvements, queue, and ticket management.
    • Proven ability to lead and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven work experience in technology, preferably in a startup environment
    • Experience in operations, project, and product management a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
    • Data-driven, results-oriented, execution-focused, and can operate with autonomy.


    Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base pay depends upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified. This role is eligible for annual performance-based bonuses, flexible time off, health care benefits, retirement savings, and employee incentive plans.


    Pay Range

    $128,000—$173,000 USD
