Job Description

This is a flexible position and can be part-time or full-time based on school schedule. Ideal for recent high school graduates or rising technical school students looking to start their career.

Responsibilities

Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Requirements:

GED or High School Diploma.

Preferred:

Pursuing Technical Associates degree

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance.

The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and move up to 35 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
