- Schedule production and qualifications for assigned departments, optimizing room schedules based on demand and constraints.
- Proactively adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand or resources, ensuring smooth production flow.
- Implement improvement plans for changeovers and monitor performance metrics to boost efficiency.
- Supervise job processes to maintain quality standards and ensure accurate documentation.
- Effectively manage personnel, enforcing consistent policies in safety, attendance, hiring, and discipline.
- Approve hourly timekeeping accurately and in line with company guidelines.
- Champion lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives on the plant floor.
- Conduct regular quality audits to uphold excellence standards.
- Lead walkthroughs in designated areas, ensuring visual management boards are updated.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles; Six Sigma or Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of performance enhancement.
- Proficiency in software like Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and email systems.
- Knowledge of MRP systems and data utilization.
- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within manufacturing, showcasing team leadership and results-driven performance.
