    Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

    School Year Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) | Henderson, North Carolina.
    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
    • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings and IEP objectives
    • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, either individually or in small groups, to address fine motor skills, sensory needs, and self-care skills
    • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals and strategies into students' educational programs
    • Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding classroom accommodations, modifications, and sensory strategies
    • Monitor and document student progress, and adjust therapy plans as needed based on ongoing assessment and collaboration with the team
    • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, goals, and strategies for support at home

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
    • Valid North Carolina license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
    • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
    • Knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy, including sensory integration, fine motor development, and assistive technology
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based services to students
