    We are currently hiring Residential Specialists to join our team. You and your team provide care and training to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting – helping with dressing, bathing, cooking food, and transport to their daily activities, teaching them to adopt new skills and improve their independence. Together, you will also go on recreational outings, enjoying life out and about in the community.

    The pay range for this position is $18.00/h /h + a hiring bonus of $1,500.

  • A typical day will include:

    Providing culturally appropriate direct support to individuals using person-centered approaches and strategies including:

  • Support and motivation to reach individual goals and objectives
  • Engage and facilitate meaningful activities that cater to the person's individual interest, preferences, and choices; teaching as necessary
  • Assists daily living skills including in the areas of grooming, hygiene, toileting, feeding and mobility
  • Provides medications as necessary (training provided upon hire)
  • Completion of electronic documentation prior to end of shifts
  • Completion of electronic documentation prior to end of shifts

    What you'll need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • (6) months experience providing direct support to developmentally disabled persons
  • Valid CA Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Comfort driving a full size van with multiple passengers
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs
  • We'd love it if you:

  • Are multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog)
  • Have experience with electronic case management systems (Therap)
  • Have a current CPR/First Aid certification
