Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience or knowledge within Procurement
Completed or working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a recently transitioned military veteran, military spouse, or actively serving National Guard or Reservist
Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn and participate in a fast-paced environment
Effective task management skills
High level of motivation
Great attitude and desire to learn and grow

Job Summary

The Tour of Duty Associate - Procurement Specialist researches, evaluates, monitors and strategizes procurement operations and ensures goods/services are delivered efficiently and meet or exceed agreed parameters. This team member also works to optimize costs and services delivered.

Responsibilities

Communicate and embody the culture and mission of the company
Participate in procurement activities for the acquisition of goods and services and operational support of data and reporting
Support the contract negotiation process
Maintain effective communication with leadership regarding developments within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested
