Test Lead must be able to formulate and execute a strategic approach to testing to ensure software quality and compliance.Test Lead will lead cross-functional teams and the overall testing strategy and work with R&D Software Engineering, Product Management, Software Quality, Regulatory and Clinical teams in planning, scheduling, and execution of Software Testing.

    Develop and execute testing strategies to support new product development and successful commercialization. Leads matrixed resources to ensure programs meet their agreed-upon milestones and deliverables. Represents the R&D Software Testing team to the organization, reports core team progress, makes recommendations, escalates risk, and provides recommendations for issue resolution to leadership.What you'll doReview deliverables/activities as identified in the test plans for accuracy, consistency, completeness and compliance.

    Ensure adequate test coverage for every release. May be covering multiple projects.Mentor and provide day to day guidance to the junior members of the software test team. Review work to ensure compliance and quality.

    May be covering multiple projects.Provide feedback and suggest improvements to the Agile SDLC processStrategically incorporate automated testing into the SDLCEvaluate new tools and processes for adoption within the organizationComplete software testing and activities for development user stories within an Agile SDLC processReview System Specifications/Requirements documents, user stories and create verification test cases (based on those requirements), and execute test casesInvestigate and report unexpected events, issues or software bugs. Verify fixes.Perform exploratory testing, system level end to end testing, develop test datasets and execute automation scripts (to ensure application software releases are of high quality)Create verification and validation test plans, test reports, trace matrices and review with relevant stakeholders (dev and quality)Review code diff analysis and develop robust regression test strategyWork cross-functionally with R&D Software Engineering, Product Management, Software Quality, Regulatory, Clinical and other departments as needed to ensure effective new product transitions into productionEnsure high quality software releasesComply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

    Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field Minimum 8 years both overall and any industry-specific experience needed4+ years of Software Quality Assurance in a regulated industry Moderate knowledge of Agile methodologiesModerate level of understanding of test-driven methodologiesDemonstrated success in technical proficiency, creativity, and independent thoughtExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize responsibilitiesKnowledge of FDA QSR, relevant ISO guidelines and 21 CFR Partknowledge of Design Control requirementsExperience leading test engineering teamPreferred:Moderate level of knowledge with continuous integration & continuous development (CI/CD)Apply Now* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
