    Worley Consulting provides integrated consulting solutions to clients within the energy, infrastructure and resources sectors. We are seeking a full-time Principal Social Consultant to join our USA Environment and Society Consulting team.

    Reporting to the USA Social and Sustainability Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting the growth of our USA Social consulting practice, cultivating new client relationships, providing technical oversight and delivering project work, and mentoring team members to deliver social scopes of work.

    The Principal Social Consultant will be focused on the USA region. They will also collaborate with our global teams to support the pursuit and delivery of work.

    Key responsibilities include:

    ·Alongside the USA Social and Sustainability Manager, work towards growing Worley's Social practice through strategy development and implementation

    ·Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives, foster internal networking opportunities, and lead pursuit writing and coordination efforts

    ·Work directly with clients and or various Worley project teams to complete social research, impact assessments and management plans; stakeholder engagement and social performance plans and activities; and other social consulting scopes

    ·Project management of social scopes of work, including resourcing and budget

    ·Mentoring team members to support the delivery of social scopes of work

    ·In collaboration with the USA Social and Sustainability Manager, identifying and recruiting social consulting candidates to join our team

    Key job skills include:

    ·Ability to cultivate, manage and develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

    ·Highly developed written and oral interpersonal and communication skills including facilitation, presentation, and negotiation

    ·Ability to provide high level strategic analysis, advice, and recommendations on opportunities and challenges relating to social consulting

    ·Bachelors in sociology, economics, planning, or equivalent; Advanced degree(s) preferred in a relevant subject area

    ·10+ years of US professional experience with an environmental consulting organization, operator, contractor, or regulator in energy and resources sectors

    ·Stakeholder engagement and social research experience in consulting, industry, government, or NGO settings

    ·Ability to travel

    ·Knowledge of Indigenous engagement practices preferred

    ·Experience in engineering project delivery considered an asset
