    Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in preadmission screening, responsible for assessing patients referred by physicians to assure they are appropriate for medical procedures. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of patient medical history, surgical and anesthesia history, medications, and the ability to determine if any pretreatment or additional medical clearance is needed prior to procedure.

    The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Degree from an accredited school and current RN licensure in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed. They must also meet all state board of nursing requirements. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association is also required.
