- Obtain initial information from patients/guardians and document vital signs, height, and weight
- Assist patients with unit orientation, search patient belongings as per policy, collect lab specimens, and encourage patient participation
- Observe and document patient status, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Provide patient hygiene and nutritional support, perform nursing activities, and assist in patient activities
- Follow safety protocols, demonstrate crisis intervention skills, and handle inquiries/crisis calls
- Participate in patient transport, inventory supplies, and facilitate group therapy sessions
