    Description

    Immediate need for a talented Senior Python Developer. This is a 07+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Mclean, VA/NYC, NY (Onsite - Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

    Job ID:

    Pay Range: $80-$90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create cloud formation templates, cloud native solutions and manage AWS infrastructure.
    • Implement automation using DevOps CICD pipelines and other utilities.
    • Develop utility scripts using python or shell programming for automating mundane tasks.
    • Develop Ansible playbooks for configuration management and deployment activities.
    • Develop unit tests wherever applicable.
    • Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions.
    • Work collaboratively with other team members in designing and problem solving.
    • Participate in all agile ceremonies.
    Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
    • Skills: Python, DevOps, AWS, SQL
    • Understanding of SQL
    • Any exposure to data engineering/data lake technologies
    • Front end/UI knowledge is a plus (full stack).
