Delivery Duties:
- Safely deliver floral arrangements and gifts to homes, businesses, hospitals, and event venues
Shop Assistant Duties:
- Process incoming flower shipments (unpacking, trimming, hydrating, organizing)
- Clean and organize work areas, coolers, and storage spaces
- Assist with receiving and organizing supply deliveries
- Take out trash and maintain overall shop cleanliness
- Support designers and staff as needed during busy periods
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
- Handle delicate arrangements with care to ensure quality presentation
- Maintain delivery schedule and communicate with shop staff regarding timing
- Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and fueled
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and punctuality
- Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks safely when handling floral supplies or equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and adherence to traffic laws for drivers or courier roles
- Ability to load & unload shipments efficiently while maintaining safety standards
