TheMajor Duties:1.
Financial Management:
Serve as chief fiscal officer and custodian of district funds/records. Maintain accurate financial accounts/records. Participate in the development of a comprehensive district-wide strategic plan. Keep the superintendent and board informed about financial status. Serve as board secretary and signing agent for district contracts. Prepare competitive bid specifications and negotiate contracts. Audit student activity accounts and building fund records. Manage payroll/benefit functions. Certify Ohio Department of Education financial reports. Analyze key program performance indicators and optimize budget allocations aligned withstrategic district goals. 2.

Diligently attend to job details and pursue quality results. Develop respectful relationships with co-workers. Maintain a professional appearance. Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality of privileged information. Comply with established work schedules.3.
Communication:
Maintain open/effective communications and serve as a reliable information resource. Foster goodwill and encourage relationships that enhance public support for the district. Help stakeholders understand district policy objectives and administrative procedures. Resolve issues tactfully and use active listening/problem-solving techniques. Respect diversity.4.
Professional Development:
Pursue opportunities to enhance job performance. Keep current with professional standards associated with work duties.6.
Other Duties:
Perform other specific job-related duties as directed by the board of education. Implement district strategies to advance organizational goals.
Experience RequiredPosition Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related field, Masters degree a plus, with specific emphasis in accounting,finance and management of district finances; Ohio Treasurers Certificate/License Successful leadership experience in school finance; Excellent organization skills; Strong interpersonal skills to relate effectively with the Board of Education, staff, students,parents and community; Proven communication skills verbal and written with experience in public speaking; High degree of professionalism; Flexibility to work with others to meet the needs of the district.
