    Senior Accountant

    Location: Tampa Bay area, Florida

    Salary: $90, $100,000.00 per year (Base pay)

    Employment Type: Full-time

    Seniority Level: Mid?Senior level

    Job Function: Accounting/Auditing

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and maintain financial records including but not limited to the general ledger, budgets, forecasts, and other ad hoc reporting
    • Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
    • Assist with audits, ensuring adherence to GAAP requirements
    • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
    • Report analysis and findings to management team
    • Act as a team lead and mentor to staff accountant

    Qualifications

    • Must have a 4-year bachelor's degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited university or college
    • At least 4 years of experience in accounting for a mid to large company, or 24 years of experience in a public accounting firm

    Required Skills

    • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
    • Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, including strong Excel
    • Detail and deadline-oriented
    • Strong analytical and problem?solving skills
