Overview:

IronMountain Solutions, Inc. (IMS) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the planning and execution of complex mission and systems analysis efforts to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E) Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Multi-Domain Joint Operations (DASD(MDJO)).

Responsivities:

• The organization's mission is to facilitate the identification and transition of technologies, systems, and systems-of-systems that close time-critical gaps in high-priority, multi-component missions.
• Lead the planning and execution of complex mission and systems analysis efforts which may include
• Technology Analysis and Assessment.
• System Definition.
• Systems Analysis.
• Systems Architecture development and architecture products for Systems of Systems.
• Kill chain analysis.
• Systems Engineering trade space and analysis to define capability gaps.
• Modeling and Simulation activities for mission improvement, or Logistics support of DoD systems.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications and Education:

• Master's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting technical, managerial, or operational fields with professional oral and written communication skills across various stakeholders at varying levels of leadership/seniority.
• Experience communicating, interfacing, and interacting with Joint Staff, Services, and warfighters on topics associated with engineering and analysis.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with OUSD(R&E).

Clearance requirements:

• Active Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and Special Access Program (SAP) experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
