    Description:
    2 years Hospitalist NP/PA or relevant nursing experience preferred. Graduate of an AMA approved Nurse Practitioner Program or accredited Physician Assistant Training Program. Current Iowa license. Possesses Federal and State Controlled Substance prescribing authority. AANP/ANCC or NCCPA certification, ACLS, and Mandatory Reporter also required.

    Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work with minimal guidance. Adult education experience required. Demonstrates advanced communication and collaboration skills with individuals and groups. Demonstrates a high degree of judgment and competence in providing specialized care. Ability to apply knowledge of principles and methods of research. High language, high math, high reasoning ability. Ability to work with diverse groups of people.

    Ability to work under pressure with a large degree of independence. Ability to prioritize multiple, simultaneous tasks. Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians and staff. Ability to assimilate available facts, analyzes and makes sound decisions. Basic computer skills required. Previous health care experience preferred.

    2 years Hospitalist NP/PA or relevant nursing experience preferred

    7on / 7 off

    7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7amPerforms diagnostic and therapeutic medical services.

    Works to ensure patient satisfaction and positive relationships with physicians and staff to help support the delivery of quality patient care.
