    Direct Counsel is working with a leading global law firm who is seeking a talented and experienced attorney to join their dynamic Private Equity and M&A team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 4-5 years of experience in private equity and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to contribute to cutting-edge transactions in a collaborative and innovative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents.
    • Meeting day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients.
    • Providing excellent legal counsel with a focus on business and strategic judgment.
    • Playing a lead role as an extension of client business teams in a team-oriented environment.

    Requirements:

    • 4-5 years of legal experience in private equity and M&A.
    • Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and project management skills.
    • Prior large firm experience working with private equity sponsors.
    • Good business and strategic judgment.

    Compensation:

    The expected annual pay range for this position is $310,000 - $365,000. The final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and the candidate's skillset.
