- Select and test fuel/additive products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and/or chemical characteristics.
- Record test data, following statistical quality control procedures.
- Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
- Perform the duties of a fueler or fuel farm attendant as needed.
- Conduct work in a safe and environmentally conscious fashion by adhering to all company, industry, local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Consults with manufacturer to determine quality and reliability standards and analyzes fuels/additives to ensure consistent product quality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk or hear.
- Frequently stand and walk.
- Able to identify and distinguish colors.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Operate company equipment in a safe manner.
- Read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram of schedule form.
- Add subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Perform mathematical skills with regard to weight, measurement and volume.
- Wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.
- Report to work in a regular and timely basis.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one (1) year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
