- Work on problems of limited scope and contribute on projects or processes while receiving detailed instructions from higher level professionals
- Develop and implement policies and practices to mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace
- Identify potential workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices, and working conditions
- Investigate accidents and collaborate with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence
- Maintaining and analyzing records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory agencies
- Assist in delivering training, learning and development requirements to employees
- To be pursuing a degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Occupational Health Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Technology, or another applicable major and actively enrolled in an accredited university the semester prior to your start date
- To be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 12-week internship assignment

Position Summary
