    Travel Nurse Across America Telemetry RN Job in Petersburg, Virginia

    We are seeking a travel nurse RN for a telemetry position in Petersburg, Virginia. The right candidate should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

    About the Job:

    • Duration: 13 weeks
    • Hours: 36 hours per week
    • Shift: 12 hours, nights

    The successful candidate will provide care by connecting patients to machines that measure vital signs. This includes heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and blood-oxygen levels. The candidate will read and interpret the data to determine patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Provide basic bedside care.
    2. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients.
    3. Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
    4. Initiate corrective action when necessary.

    Requirements:

    • ACLS, BLS, 2 Years
    • Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

    Tax-free stipend amount will be determined. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
