Senior Studies Engineer - Remote (United States)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct studies to help wind, solar, and storage project developers identify appropriate Points of Interconnection across the United States.
• Collaborate with internal teams and disciplines to initiate project analysis during the early stages of development.
• Support utilities and ISOs with transmission planning work, such as generator interconnection studies and NERC compliance.
• Mentor and train other engineers in power systems studies.
• Assist in developing study processes and python scripts.
• Work with sales teams to identify client support needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience in US ISO/utility grid interconnection, planning studies, or power flow analysis.
• Proficiency in PSS/E steady-state analysis, with experience in PSS/E dynamics and TARA preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO/Utility interconnection processes and study methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Authorized to work permanently in the United States.
