    Overview

    At Summa Rehabilitation Hospital, we have a deep commitment to providing top-quality care to our patients. With a focus on inpatient rehabilitative services at our 60-bed facility, we support individuals on their journey to recovery from injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.

    We are currently looking for a Physical Therapist PRN to join our dedicated team of caregivers.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    • Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
    • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification from an approved vendor required.
    • One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

      • Additional Qualifications/Skills:

      • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
      • Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.
      • Demonstrates competency in the provision of care according to established standards.
      • Demonstrates appropriate application of age-specific standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines when caring for patients of all ages.
      • General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
      • Leadership abilities in delegating, organizing, and educating colleagues and staff.
      • Effective organizational and time management skills.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality levels.
      • Works effectively and professionally with others.
      • Ensures adherence to quality, safety, and infection control standards.
        • Responsibilities

        As a Physical Therapist, you will provide essential services to help patients regain function, enhance mobility, manage pain, and prevent permanent physical disabilities resulting from injuries or illnesses. Your role includes assessing patient medical histories, evaluating physical capabilities, creating customized treatment plans, and incorporating the hospital's mission and guiding principles into your daily practice.
