Job summary
The Citadel of Northbrook is seeking a Wound Care Nurse LPN to join their team. As a Wound Care Nurse LPN, you will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with each resident's assessments and care plan and as may be directed by management.This distinctive role will specialize in the care of patients with wounds, ostomies, or continence disorders.
- Works with patients who have gastrointestinal stomas for feeding tubes or colostomy bags, skin ulcers, drains, surgical incisions, or pressure sores.
- Evaluates & Provides treatment protocols to ward off skin irritation and infection for wounds that may not heal well, because of other medical problems, such as diabetes or poor circulation.
