- Maintain equipment while performing basic mechanical and electrical repair work
- Notice and report any abnormal conditions/failures
- Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations and report to supervisors.
- Perform machine shop functions (sheet metal, steel layout and welding)
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
- Follow company policy, processes and action plans as it relates to all plant machinery
- Must follow and understand production daily goals and requirements
- Perform general housekeeping
- Understand and follow Work Instructions
- Detect and report defective materials
- Dispose of contaminated work materials in appropriate containers
- Follow and maintain good housekeeping and hygiene practices Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months – 1-year experience in an industrial environment working within a maintenance (electrical) department as a Maintenance Electrician/ Technician
- Good writing and communication skills
- Basic understanding of MS Office (Word / Excel)
- Forklift Certified

Areas of Focus Maintenance Technician I will follow the preventive maintenance schedule in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's recommendation and industry accepted best practices for all plant equipment.
