    About the Role

    As a Belmont Village Caregiver, you will provide hands-on personal assistance to a group of seniors living within our large Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

    • Provide personal assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.
    • Encourage socialization and inspire participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and well-being.
    • Document care and services provided daily by following customized service plans and communicating to supervisor any observed changes in care needs.
    • E nsure care, safety and cleanliness standards are met according to regulatory compliance.
    • Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed.

    Responsibilities

    Your typical daily responsibilities will include:

    1. Providing personalized care and support to each resident.
    2. Fostering a sense of community and encouraging social interaction among residents.
    3. Observing and documenting changes in each resident's condition and reporting to supervisors.
    4. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
    5. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Current CNA certification or completion of caregiver training program.
    • Previous experience working with seniors in a caregiving capacity.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
