UH Lakewood Medical Center is located between Kansas City and Lee's Summit, Missouri, offering residents of Eastern Jackson County access to a modern community hospital with a continuum of outpatient services designed to meet the needs of families. UH Behavioral Health is the KC metro area's largest, most comprehensive provider of mental health services. Job Description
Under the supervision of licensed personnel and with support of a preceptor, and clinical education from a UH approved education resource, provides personal care, comfort measures, and supportive care to patients. Collects and documents patient data according to established guidelines. Maintains a safe and clean work environment through inspections and proper techniques as defined in departmental and organizational standards. Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding residents as necessary and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. Assisting residents with ambulation, turning, toileting, bathing, and positioning. Expected to obtain CNA certification within 4 months of hire
