- Acute care hospital radiology department with 5 imaging rooms
- Imaging studies include X-ray, OR C-arm, and fluoroscopy
- Department equipment includes Toshiba rad rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC C-arms
- Average of 400 scans/studies per day
- EMR: Epic; PACS: Fuji Synapse
- In-house radiologist coverage with residents 24/7
- No floating or coverage of other areas required
- 3x12-hour shifts on weekend days (day/afternoon/night availability noted)
- Holiday coverage may be required
- No on-call or standby requirement
- Perform X-ray, fluoroscopy, and C-arm imaging in both standard and OR settings
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Department-specific orientation is provided
- Radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency; the facility does not supply one
- Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before returning
- Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year; after reaching that threshold, a 2-year break is required before returning
- Skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology technologist experience
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- WV State License required if applicable
- Proficiency with C-arm and fluoroscopy required
- Experience with X-ray and OR imaging procedures
- Driver's license with an address at least 50 miles from the facility required
- Valid, unexpired driver's license required for consideration
- 2 supervisor/peer references required (1 supervisor, 1 peer or additional supervisor)
