Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment at client locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and support.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems in farming and construction equipment.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all service activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking purposes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with high voltage equipment.
- Provide training and support to clients on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in farm/construction maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- Certification or training in relevant technical fields is a plus.
