    Currently, we are in search of a new, full-time team member for the role of:

    Acquisition Manager, Journeyman


    Job Summary:

    As the Acquisition Manager, Journeyman, you will demonstrate a profound understanding of DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods to evaluate information, draw conclusions, and devise solutions to enhance acquisition effectiveness and compliance. Your role will involve assisting in the development of acquisition documentation, conducting work measurement studies, and utilizing automated management information systems for analytical and advisory functions


    Responsibilities:

    • Support key acquisition events and reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, TCM, FCA, PCA, PRR, and others
    • Assist in maintaining databases, development, and analysis of program metrics
    • Track technical metrics and report status
    • Apply DoD and AF program/project analysis to support planning and decision-making
    • Assist in requirements document development, JCIDS process, and translating user requirements into RFP documentation
    • Support policy implementation, High Powered Teams, and capability planning processes
    • Promote the use of Modeling Simulation & Analysis throughout the acquisition lifecycle
    • Integrate intelligence information for system acquisition
    • Provide program cost, schedule, and performance support
    • Develop technical data and inputs for staff summary packages
    • Assist in producing documentation and presentation materials
    • Support program status tracking through schedule analysis
    • Coordinate with USG organizations and resolve programmatic issues
    • Participate in integrated program reviews and conferences
    • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in the technical/professional discipline

    Educational and Experience Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree with Ten (10) years of relevant experience, including three (3) in the DoD
    • -OR-
    • HS/GED with Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, including five (5) in the DoD.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security clearance
    • Preference may be given to applicants in a Hubzone Area

    Outcome: Fluency in a technical/professional discipline, expert-level proficiency, and exceptional interpersonal capabilities
