    Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) Needed

    We are currently seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year. These positions, both full-time and part-time, involve supporting the communication needs of children ages 3 to 5 at a school in Bennington, Vermont. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in helping children develop essential communication skills to succeed in school and beyond.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans and interventions
    • Provide direct support to students with speech and language disorders in individual or small group settings
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate student progress and success
    • Assist in conducting assessments and documenting student progress
    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required

    Requirements:

    • Completion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program or related degree
    • State licensure or certification as required by Vermont regulations
    • Experience working with young children in a school or clinical setting preferred
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to providing high-quality services to students with diverse needs
