    Description
    Creating purchase orders to facilitate the timely replenishment of the Distribution Centers


    • Communicating with both assigned vendors and/or company branches to ensure smooth flow of information and goods
    • Maintaining agreed upon service levels (fill rates) to our customers
    • Meeting or exceeding inventory turn goals.
    • Monitoring vendor performance (fill rate and on-time delivery) and taking corrective action where necessary.
    • Coordinating returns to the vendors for damaged and discontinued merchandise.
    • Monitoring inventory at all assigned locations and recommends transfers as appropriate to eliminate "overstock".
    • Reviewing missed demand and adjusting inventory to capture future sales

    SQL experience


    • Food & Beverage industry experience working with any products with an expiration date
    • 2+ years of purchasing experience within retail or wholesale Buyer, Purchasing Manager/Coordinator, etc.
    • Excel experience has to have xlookups OR vlookups
    • Purchasing System experience
    • GREAT communication skills verbal and written
    • Willing and able to work onsite at Atlanta office 3 days per week, remote 2 days per week
